Welded plate type wide channel air preheater

An air preheater is a device designed to recover waste heat from exhaust gas to preheat the air for next process, usually as combustion air to burn in furnace.

The working principle of an air preheater is to preheat the air with waste heat from exhaust gas. During this process, the waste heat from exhaust gas is recovered and the temperature of the air is lifted for better combustion in the chamber, saving energy and cost for industries.

We design and fabricate two types of air preheaters. One is fully welded plate type and the other is tubular type.

Plate type takes welded plate bundles as the heat transfer element. Space channel between plates can be designed at different height according to the flow rate and composition of flue gas.
 

Welded plate air preheater takes welded plate bundle as heat transfer element. Each two plates are welded together along the seams by automatic laser welding machine to form a plate pair. Each plate pair are then welded onto the four columns to form a plate bundle, which is the core heat transfer body of the full set of air preheater heat transfer.
