Stainless Steel Round Plate Heat Exchanger
 

ASME Code High Pressure Stainless Steel Gas to Gas or Liquid to Liquid Welded Round Plate Heat Exchanger
The round plate and shell heat exchanger contains a round plate pack in which the "herringbone" pattern is pressed into each plate. The products pass through the port holes and into the gap between the plates. The heat transfer takes place when the warmer product transfers energy through the flow plates and delivers it to the colder opposing product without mixing the both products.
The "herringbone" pattern ensures turbulent flow within the effective area. Furthermore, this pattern brings "metallic" contact between the plates, then optimal differential pressure is achieved.
The plate pack is firmly fixed into the round shell.



Advantages: 
1.High heat transfer efficiency.   SS steel welding unit is the core of HE for forming the flowing bundle influenced, increase the heat exchanging efficiency.
 
2.Low pressure drop. In the same heat transfer area, circulation area of all-welded plate heat exchanger circulation area is about more five times than that of tubular heat exchanger.
3.The core is assembled by thin plates, which is 0.5 to 1.2mm thickness for compact structure  and light weight processing, that saves more cost,place and volume comparing with tubular heat exchanger.
