Product Description

The shell-and-plate heat exchanger consists of a circular plate assembly which presses the herringbone pattern into each plate. The medium enters the gap between the plates through the port. The hot medium transfers heat to the opposite cooler medium through the flow plate, and realizes heat transfer without mixing the two media.

 

The "herringbone" shape ensures turbulence in the effective heat transfer area. In addition, the shape generates metal contact between the plates to achieve the optimal pressure difference.
