Basic Design Conditions
In this project, the flue gas volume is 600m3/h, the gas temperature is 100 ºC, the gas inlet pressure is 3.5 barG, and the carbon dioxide content is 25%.
For the  CO2  concentration  in  the  flue  gas  of this  plan,  chemical  absorption method is adopted. The process of removing CO2 from flue gas includes: the treated flue gas enters the absorption tower after passing through the pre-treatment tower which is filled with fillers. The amine solution and flue gas flow counter through the absorption tower, during which the amine solution absorbs CO2 from the flue gas. The  rich  liquid  that  absorbs  CO2    enters  the  lean  rich  liquid  heat  exchanger  for preheating before entering the regeneration tower. The operating temperature of the regeneration tower is 100-120 ºC. The lean liquid that desorbs CO2  in the regeneration tower is filtered and cooled before returning to the absorption tower for recycling.
